To all our plant loving friends,
You may or may not know we recently moved locations to an awesome space in Whistler village, the only down side to that is that sadly our cafe could not come with us :( so for the time being it is on a hiatus until we can find a way to bring it back.

The Velvet Cafe is our 100% plant-based espresso bar located within our vintage shop!
All of our condiments and nut milks are made in-house by us because we hate packaging's environmental impact, and chemicals and fillers from processed and mass-produced food & beverages. We want to guarantee everything we make has real ingredients, made with love by us.
Our coffee and chocolate is all from East Van Coffee Roasters, a specialty cafe and social enterprise in the heart of Gastown. EVR is committed to encouraging women that are re-entering the workforce through mentorship based programming and on the job training. They support at-risk people in a compassionate and supportive environment filled with meaningful work and nourishing food.
East Van Roasters creates organic "bean-to-bar" chocolate and coffee that is roasted and prepared on-site. Not only do they make amazing coffee and chocolate, their philosophy aligns with our own core values. We couldn't be more proud to be working alongside such an amazing business dedicated to helping others and making this world a better place.
